1. Overview

At StartSync.app, we want you to be fully satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for payments made through our platform.

All payments are processed securely by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, no questions asked. This is in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

How to request a refund: Send an email to contact@startsync.app with your account email and the reason for your request (optional). We will process your refund within 14 calendar days.

3. When Refunds May Not Apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply if:

  • You have actively used the Service during the 14-day period (created events, uploaded presentations, etc.)
  • You have explicitly requested that the service begin before the withdrawal period has expired
  • More than 14 days have passed since the original purchase

4. Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days in the current billing period

5. Refund Method

Refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider and typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.

6. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly). If you do not wish to be charged for the next period, please cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

Refunds for automatic renewals may be granted on a case-by-case basis if requested within 48 hours of the renewal charge.

7. Disputes

If you believe you have been charged in error or have a billing dispute, please contact us at contact@startsync.app before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly.
